MaltiPom Breed
The MaltiPom is a hybrid of two of the most well-known and old Toy companion dogs. The hybrid is a gentle, affectionate dog that loves its family but is also alert and capable of sounding the alarm through barking. The Maltipom can adjust to life with children but is not well-suited for living with younger kids who may not understand how to interact with dogs. Both parent breeds are very eager to please their people and train well in almost all respects.
The Maltipom has low levels of energy and does not require a lot of exercise. A short burst of energy in the living room as the Maltipom races to your lap for a cuddle is characteristic of this dog. The intensity of exercise is not great either and the Maltipom is a pretty sedate companion. Given its size and energy levels, the Maltipom is an excellent dog for apartment and urban living and can spend the greater part of its life indoors. The Maltipom is a temperate climate dog and doesn’t like it too hot or too cold.
