French Bulldog / Boston Terrier Breed
The Frenchton is a hybrid mix of two small-sized breeds, the Boston Terrier and the French Bulldog. The intentional crossbreeding of these two parents is intended to produce a healthier dog with all the looks of the French Bulldog. The desired look captures 75% of the Frenchie and 25% of the Boston Terrier. If the Faux Frenchbo Bulldog mostly resembles the French Bulldog in appearance, it gets its athleticism from the Boston Terrier.
The Frenchton is a companion dog of high sensitivity that needs family companionship. This hybrid is affectionate and loyal toward its family and loves to cuddle on a good lap. This dog makes for an excellent companion for children but is more suited for older children who will not play rough. When it comes to strangers, the Frenchton is friendly and not usually shy at all. If socialized at an early age, gets along with other pets but may show slight intolerance for other dogs. The energy levels on the Boston Terrier parent are moderate and slightly greater than the French Bulldog parent. Daily exercise is required, but the intensity doesn’t have to be intense or long. These dogs are intelligent and eager to please.
