Yorkiepoo Breed
With the pedigree of a showman and the heart of a true companion, the Yorkiepoo has been making waves as a designer dog who is great for anyone seeking a small, highly hypoallergenic companion. Despite being a designer dog that’s only been around for a few decades, the Yorkiepoo has been gaining prominence as the wondrous result of mixing a Yorkshire Terrier with a Poodle. Yorkiepoo’s are very confident dogs and have been known to do quite well in competitions and shows, once properly trained. But even if you’re not looking for a dog to enter into the competitive scene, they makes a great pet and an awesome family friend.
Being smaller dogs, Yorkiepoos don’t require a high intensity workout regime but they will need about 30 minutes of play time, per day, to get some of that much needed mental stimulation that was mentioned earlier. Due to their more compact size, they can get an adequate workout from playing at a local park or even going for a stroll around the block. A large amount of the Yorkiepoo’s exercising needs can be met at home as well, which why this breed is becoming a favorite of apartment dwellers or other individuals who live in smaller spaces. Try to shoot for an average distance of 6 miles walked per week, as this range will usually cover the Yorkipoo’s fitness needs.
