TeddyPoo Breed
The TeddyPoo is a designer mix between a Teddy Bear (ShihTzu/Bichon) and Poodle. They are a very popular breed and great family dog!
The Teddy Bear also commonly known as the Zuchon or Shichon is a small, teddy-bear looking dog that will fill your life with love. They are a cross between the Shih Tzu and Bichon Frise .Their average weight ranges from 8 to 15 pounds, and they can stand up to 12 inches tall. These dogs are super affectionate, loyal, and cheerful. They create deep bonds with their families and are very gentle. Likewise, they are great for children, and get along with other pets. These hypoallergenic dogs have long fur that can be curly or silky, and it can be fawn, black, white, cream, red, and a combination of colors. They have really sweet looking faces and a tender look.
The Teddy Bear is a really happy and friendly dog. They are very sociable, loving, gentle, and lively. This hybrid dog is always looking to please her family; she is also quite intelligent, so it is safe to say she is very easy to train. They are very loyal and they create deep bonds with their family, they can even understand their owner’s body language. These dogs are excellent with children; they are very gentle, patient, and love to play and get attention. They also get along very well with other dogs and pets. These dogs are happiest when they are a beloved loved family member; they love to snuggle and sleep with their owners.
The Teddy Bear does not require much activity to stay healthy and happy. They will do well with daily playtime at their homes. However, it is recommended to take her out for a short 15 to 20 minute walk a few times daily, so she can socialize and get fresh air. The Teddy Bear enjoy sunbathing, playing, and curling up. They also like to swim, so having a plastic pool for her is a great idea. They adapt very well to apartment living
The Poodle is remarkably intelligent. Highly responsive, it is said to be one of the most trainable breeds. Sweet, cheerful, perky and lively, it likes to be with people. Delightful, very amusing and keen. Socialize these dogs well. They make very good watchdogs for their size.Don’t let their small size fool you.They are fine with any home, from apartments to estates.They sometimes prefer to live indoors with the family, particularly the smaller Toy and Miniature Poodles, since they have no trouble getting their ya-yas out in the house but would also love a day out with the family running and playing.
A good Poodle who’s been taught canine manners has a calm disposition, especially if he gets regular exercise to burn off his natural energy.
An outstanding trait of the Poodle is his intelligence. He is often said to have human-like intelligence, an amazing cleverness that astounds his owners. Of course, smart dogs can be difficult to live with. They learn fast — good habits and bad — and they remember everything.
