Shinese (Shih Tzu / Pekingnese) Breed
The Shinese will inherit his behavioral traits from his parent breeds, the Shih Tzu and Pekingese. Typically, the Shinese will have a lot of energy and be very playful. A dog of the hybrid will be very loyal to his human family and will prefer to be with them. He will be protective of his humans and will bark to alert them to strangers. This hybrid tends to be wary of new people; early socialization will be helpful for him to develop comfort around others.
The Shinese does enjoy his independence and will prefer to walk on his own rather than be carried all the time. Owners of the Shinese say he is bright and easy to train, particularly with positive reinforcement. The Shinese is a loyal and loving dog who brings the headstrong nature of the Shih Tzu together with the protective Pekingnese for a feisty little family dog that thrives on human companionship. In spite of his sometime aloof personality he loves spending time with his people.
